BOSTON, MA, July 9, 2025 — The Boston Globe today released its Best of the Best 2025, its annual list of Boston’s best dining, shopping, and entertainment. This year’s list identifies the best Greater Boston has to offer across 28 categories, including sandwich shops, record stores, ice cream, seafood, nightlife, breweries, and more.
In its second year, the Best of the Best is the result of careful deliberations from the experts at the heart of The Boston Globe, including food critics, restaurant reviewers, experienced journalists, trusted correspondents, and special contributors. This well-researched and carefully tested list of more than 300 winners represents a diverse, current, and practical guide to the city.
“The journalists at the Globe know and love this city,” said Annalisa Quinn, interim editor of Globe magazine. “That’s why, when putting together our Best of the Best list, we turned to the people whose job it is to cover it.
