Terzel Ron Vasquez has joined STAT Brand Studio as Branded Content Producer

BOSTON, Dec. 1, 2025 — STAT, the leading media company reporting on health, medicine, and the life sciences, announced today that Terzel Ron Vasquez has joined STAT Brand Studio as Branded Content Producer. The newly created role marks the continued expansion of STAT Brand Studio, STAT’s award-winning branded content division, which has rapidly grown its multimedia portfolio, creative capabilities, and life sciences client partnerships over the past two years.

Vasquez is a senior digital content producer, host, and creative strategist shaping culturally resonant storytelling across entertainment and media. He has developed and led digital content strategies for major networks, including the Oprah Winfrey Network under Warner Bros. Discovery, Paramount (MTV, Comedy Central), and NBCUniversal. At OWN, he managed the network’s core YouTube content ecosystems, overseeing channel planning, narrative development, and editorial direction.

As an interviewer and entertainment journalist for outlets including Vanity Fair, Vasquez has led in-depth conversations with artists and cultural figures across film, television, and music. He also partners with creators and brands to clarify identity, shape messaging, and build digital strategies rooted in storytelling, authenticity, and purpose.

STAT Brand Studio has become a core growth engine for STAT, producing high-quality, mission-aligned storytelling for life sciences partners and advertisers across articles, videos, podcasts, custom reports, and event activations. The studio has earned international recognition for excellence in branded content and multimedia storytelling, including a recently announced Anthem Award for mission-driven work and a Silver honor for Studio of the Year from the Native Advertising Awards.

“Terzel brings a thoughtful, audience-first approach to content and a strong collaborative energy,” said Jesse McQuarters, editor of STAT Brand Studio. “His experience shaping narrative experiences for large, engaged audiences will deepen our ability to produce sophisticated, meaningful storytelling for our partners across the life sciences.”

“STAT Brand Studio has quickly become an essential part of STAT’s growth story,” said Rick Berke, STAT’s co-founder and executive editor. “As demand for high-quality, scientifically grounded storytelling increases across the industry, Terzel’s creative experience and editorial sensibility will help us continue to elevate the caliber of work we deliver for our advertising partners.”
