Chief Marketing Officer
Peggy Byrd is the chief marketing officer of Boston Globe Media, where she leads marketing, audience engagement and customer service efforts to grow the organization’s brand with editorial-driven campaigns, such as enhanced digital experiences, improved subscriber journeys, robust data analytics, thought leadership and new services that resonate with current readers while inviting new audiences in.
Previously, Peggy served as senior vice president for multicultural strategy at iHeartMedia and Entertainment, where she stewarded brand partnerships for syndicated audio/digital shows such as the Steve Harvey Morning Show and the Breakfast Club. She has also led public service media partnerships at the Advertising Council.
The Brown University alum studied Economics as an undergrad and later earned her M.B.A. from New York University’s Leonard N. Stern School of Business.
